• The main material in both the collar and leash is hemp, a sustainable material because it grows quickly and requires very little artificial fertilizers and herbicides to produce.
• Both products feature a strong construction, making them durable and long lasting products. Rolling, swimming, walking in the rain, mud and snow, Timber and Trout have put these products to the test with no damage to the leash.
• The hemp leash is five feet long, which is not too short and not too long.
• Both the collar and the handle of the leash are lined in fleece, which is cozy and especially nice on my hands during long winter walks.
• The packaging used is minimal, consisting of a single round cardboard tag.
• The naturally dyed colors are fun and stylish, available in six colors and two sizes.

Losing Team (-)

• The hemp is sourced in China, and both the collar and leash are manufactured there as well.
• While the fleece on the leash is great, it is just okay for the collar liner. For short haired dogs, this may be beneficial, but for shedding dog, the hair can stick to the fleece.
• The metal on the leash clasp, the fleece, and the nylon material are all new materials that have not been repurposed.
• There are two sizes for the collars and it would be nice to have three sizes so if your pup is in the middle you don’t have to double up on the large collar to make it fit.
• The hemp can take a while to dry after a session in the rain, lake or ocean.
